<p class="p2">We are seeking a detail-oriented <strong>Accountant</strong> to support our global accounting operations, primarily focusing on <strong>Argentina</strong> and other international entities. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and posting <strong>journal entries in NetSuite</strong>, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.</p>
<p class="p2">This position will work closely with regional finance leads, the global accounting team, and external advisors to maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities and currencies.</p>
<p class="p2"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p class="p2"><strong>Accounting Operations</strong></p>

<li class="li2">Record and review daily journal entries in <strong>NetSuite</strong> across multiple entities (Argentina, India, Slovenia, etc.).</li>
<li class="li2">Manage accruals, prepayments, intercompany entries, and expense allocations.</li>
<li class="li2">Ensure timely month-end closing activities — including reconciliations, supporting schedules, and adjusting entries.</li>
<li class="li2">Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure adherence to <strong>US GAAP / Local GAAP</strong> where applicable.</li>
<li class="li2">Support the preparation of <strong>trial balances</strong> and assist with consolidation activities.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>Compliance & Reporting</strong></p>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li2">Collaborate with regional accounting firms for <strong>tax and statutory filings</strong> (e.g., Argentina local GAAP adjustments).</li>
<li class="li2">Ensure transactions align with <strong>local compliance</strong> requirements — including FX translation, payroll, and vendor payments.</li>
<li class="li2">Assist in preparation of <strong>audit schedules</strong> and PBC (Provided By Client) documentation.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>System & Process</strong></p>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li2">Post and validate entries in <strong>NetSuite</strong>, ensuring proper tagging of <strong>departments, classes, and subsidiaries</strong>.</li>
<li class="li2">Support system migrations and process improvements related to NetSuite and other integrated tools (e.g., Navan, DevRev App).</li>
<li class="li2">Help design and maintain <strong>COA mappings</strong> and templates for automated entries and reconciliations.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>Collaboration</strong></p>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li2">Coordinate with <strong>Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and Tax</strong> teams for accurate accounting of transactions.</li>
<li class="li2">Liaise with <strong>external consultants</strong> in Argentina and other regions for monthly closure, tax reconciliations, and audits.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul class="ul1">
<li class="li2">Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li class="li2">Minimum <strong>3–5 years</strong> of accounting experience; multinational or SaaS environment preferred.</li>
<li class="li2">Hands-on experience with <strong>NetSuite</strong> (mandatory).</li>
<li class="li2">Solid understanding of <strong>journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting</strong>.</li>
<li class="li2">Familiarity with <strong>US GAAP</strong> and <strong>local accounting standards</strong> (especially Latin America).</li>
<li class="li2">Working knowledge of <strong>multi-currency accounting</strong>.</li>
<li class="li2">Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and comfort with accounting automation tools.</li>
<li class="li2">Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p class="p2"><strong>Preferred Attributes:</strong></p>

<li class="li2">Experience with <strong>global entities</strong> (Argentina, India, US, or EMEA).</li>
<li class="li2">Exposure to <strong>audit and compliance cycles</strong> with Big 4 or equivalent firms.</li>
<li class="li2">Strong written and verbal communication skills in <strong>English</strong> (Spanish a plus).</li>
