<p>As a Prototype Engineer, you will rapidly design and develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions that demonstrate the art of the possible for AvePoint’s customers and internal teams. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to validate technical feasibility, explore innovative approaches, and accelerate adoption of AvePoint solutions. Once these proof-of-concept solutions have been validated, they will be handed off to the product engineering teams, who will deploy them to production environments.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Architect, develop, and iterate on prototypes and POCs to validate new concepts and technologies.</li>
<li>Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and constraints.</li>
<li>Research and propose design options, documenting trade-offs and performance considerations.</li>
<li>Implement unit and system-level testing strategies to ensure quality and scalability.</li>
<li>Summarize findings and present recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.</li>
<li>Push the technical bar by experimenting with emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to AvePoint’s platform.</li>
<li>Be self-guided and disciplined in managing time, dealing well with ambiguity and leading hands-on technical work.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Over 6 years of software development experience with proficiency in C#, Python, TypeScript, Node, or similar languages.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks and services development.</li>
<li>Practical experience building on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services and/or Google Cloud and Google Workspace services.</li>
<li>Experience with data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data management tools (e.g., Databricks, Fabric, SQL/NoSQL databases).</li>
<li>Ability to deal with ambiguity, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams and disciplines.</li>
<li>Passion for learning new technologies and quickly ramping on unfamiliar domains.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional prototype or innovation teams.</li>
<li>Prior experience with AI/ML prototyping or rapid experimentation in enterprise settings.</li>

<li>Advanced expertise in cloud-native security, compliance, and scalability.</li>
