We currently have a vacancy for a Application Architect (Production Support) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your Tasks:
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
- Data analysis and data modelling;
- Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
- Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities;
- Ensuring the proper management of application access by following the recommendations applicable to its scope;
- Implementing the system and parameters used to monitor its scope;
- Monitoring the smooth implementation of processing according to the production plan;
- Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership;
- Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
- Checking the functional and technical quality of the interfaces / transfers between applications;
- Conduct research to find ways to improve operations;
- Checking the proper running of application backups and restoration;
- Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance;
- Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan;
- Develop new functionalities according to requirements, planning and at high level of quality;
- Contribute on the quality procedure, creating unit and integration tests;
- Provide assistance and/or support in the resolution of production issues (3rd line);
- Review, evaluate and test applications or (also third party) components to ensure integration with the other application components, and compliance with the requirements and standards.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Minimum 7 years of specific expertise in Rest, SOAP, Jenkins, Maven;
- Minimum 6 years of specific expertise in Java;
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Agile;
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Jira;
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Git ;
- Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in Linux;
- Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals;
- Experience in providing 24x7 support for critical servers, Availability, Performance, Monitoring, Incident response, Preparation, Change management and Capacity management;
- Experience with SOA webservers;
- Experience with Weblogic Server;
- Experience with integration tools like Sonar;
- Experience with Relational DBMS and Oracle database;
- Proficiency in business process analysis;
- Proficient in ITIL Operation Methodology with strong analytical skills and proven work experience;
- Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL;
- In depth knowledge of JEE 8 or 7 (at least EJB3, JMS, JPA);
- In depth knowledge of Angular 2 (preferably 18);
- In depth knowledge of automatic testing frameworks (jUnit, TestNG, Protractor);
- Very good knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
- Knowledge of TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN;
- Knowledge of modelling and graphical representations and abstractions;
- Excellent command of the English language.
