<p>We are seeking a ASO/SEO <strong>Marketing Manager</strong> to join our world-class <strong>Growth Marketing</strong> team at <strong>Careem</strong>, with a strong focus on <strong>SEO, ASO, and the activation of emerging digital channels</strong>, including AI-driven discovery engines. This role goes beyond traditional performance marketing to encompass <strong>content visibility, intelligent targeting, and digital innovation</strong> that keeps Careem ahead of the curve.</p>
<p>You will build strategies that span across <strong>Paid Media, SEO, ASO, and AI-powered surfaces</strong> — ensuring our landing pages and brand visibility are optimized not just for search, but also for <strong>contextual discovery tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity</strong>. The ideal candidate blends <strong>technical know-how with creative fluency</strong>, and thrives in scaling new frontiers.</p>
<h3>What you'll do</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Lead SEO strategy</strong> to improve the visibility and performance of <strong>landing and long-tail pages (LLPs)</strong> across traditional search engines and new-gen discovery platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity).</li>
<li>Collaborate with content, data, and web teams to <strong>structure, tag, and serve content</strong> that aligns with AI/LLM-driven search behavior.</li>
<li>Drive <strong>ASO (App Store Optimization)</strong> to maximize the performance of app store landing pages, ensuring best-in-class discoverability, conversion rates, and creative placement.</li>
<li>Explore and launch <strong>emerging marketing channels</strong> (e.g. AI chat surfaces, smart TVs, native placements), with a test-and-learn mindset and structured evaluation of performance.</li>
<li>Ensure clarity and alignment on campaign briefs, translating business goals into actionable growth tactics across owned and paid assets.</li>
<li>Partner with content and web teams to ensure keyword-rich, LLM-friendly content optimized for both search engines and emerging discovery platforms.</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;">What You'll Need</span><br></h3>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated experience with <strong>technical and content SEO</strong>, including schema, indexation strategy, and LLP architecture.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>ASO best practices</strong>, with hands-on experience optimizing app listings and creatives.</li>
<li>Passion for <strong>new technologies and AI-led marketing</strong>; familiarity with the adtech ecosystem in platforms like ChatGPT or Perplexity is a strong plus.</li>
<li>Experience working with <strong>Mobile Measurement Platforms</strong> (e.g., Adjust) and understanding multi-touch attribution.</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>dashboarding tools</strong> (e.g., Looker Studio) and performance tracking.</li>
<li>Strong analytical mindset with an ability to connect insights to action.</li>
<li>A proven track record of scaling campaigns or programs from scratch, especially in <strong>non-traditional or nascent channels</strong>.</li>
<li>Over 3 years experience working directly in app store optimisation</li>
