Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes within the chef's specialty.
- Assist in the management and training of demi-chefs and commis chefs.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards in terms of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dishes and menus.
- Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the head chef.
Qualifications
- College level education in catering, preferably a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury resort or hotel.
Skills
- Expertise in Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international culinary techniques and processes.
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience Requirements
