The organization is seeking a proactive and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, streamline operational systems, and enable data-driven growth. This role blends financial leadership, strategic planning, and systems optimization, working directly with the CEO and supporting cross-functional teams to scale impact.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO in shaping and executing both short-term and long-term business plans.
- Lead strategic initiatives related to market expansion, including:
- Assessing opportunities for growth in current and new markets.
- Designing capital allocation frameworks by geography or business unit.
- Creating financial models to evaluate scalability, risk, and ROI.

- Drive communication with the board, investors, and internal stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations.
- Define and monitor KPIs that measure progress against business goals.
- Lead quarterly strategy reviews and annual planning cycles.
Financial Management & Controls
- Oversee all financial reporting activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements.
- Manage month-end close, annual audits, and financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Implement and strengthen financial controls, policies, and risk mitigation processes.
- Build and manage relationships with external auditors, compliance bodies, and financial institutions.
Systems, Data & Automation
- Lead development of integrated systems and automation tools to support field, sales, logistics, and finance functions.
- Oversee creation of low-code workflow tools and operational dashboards to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
- Build and scale the organization’s data infrastructure, ensuring reliable data pipelines across teams.
- Develop automated reporting, analytics dashboards, and data governance frameworks.
- Use financial and operational data to support decision-making, forecasting, and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in financial strategy, modelling, and analysis (management consulting, private equity, or similar experience preferred).
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, Excel, data analytics, and executive-level presentation (PowerPoint).
- Experience building or managing financial systems, BI tools, or automation platforms is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Passion for mission-driven, social impact, or emerging market environments.
- Hands-on, adaptable, collaborative, and willing to travel to operational sites as needed.
