As a Team Lead, Concept Art at Ubisoft Montreal, you will lead and mentor a team of Concept Artists for the Rainbow Six Siege project. You will foster a collaborative and inspiring environment while ensuring deliverables meet artistic standards and deadlines. You will work closely with production and other disciplines to ensure concepts support the project's vision and needs.
What you will do:
- Lead and inspire a team of Concept Artists, encouraging creativity and collaboration
- Plan, prioritize, assign and track team tasks according to objectives and deliverables
- Cooperate with production to ensure the quality and consistency of artistic concepts
- Provide constructive feedback to support artistic and technical development
- Integrate best practices while staying aware of industry trends and developments
- Understand the story, gameplay and constraints of the game to guide creation
- Identify and help resolve team issues and conflicts
- Participate in performance follow-ups in collaboration with production management
- Facilitate onboarding of new team members
Qualifications / What you bring:
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept art and mastery of different styles and genres
- Team leadership and people management experience in a creative context
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
- Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Good understanding of the video game production process
