Who are we?
At Medis, we believe in empowering medical professionals with our innovative analytical solutions. For more than 35 years, cardiologists, radiologists, researchers, and industry partners worldwide rely on Medis post-processing software. Our team of professionals takes great pride in providing innovative cardiovascular imaging solutions that support our customers’ diagnoses and treatment options.
Our headquarters is in Leiden, but over the years we have established subsidiaries and branch offices in the USA, Japan, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, as well as distributors and local agents in over 40 countries.
As Medis continues to grow rapidly, we are expanding our finance team to ensure a higher level of control, scalability and efficiency. We are seeking a Controller who will take primary responsibility for strengthening the financial and business control of a subset of our group entities, while ensuring process harmonization and consistency across our global operations.
The Controller will work closely with a peer Controller, the Finance Assistant, and the CFO to further develop the Finance Department and elevate its standards in processes, controlling, planning, and automation. In this role, you will contribute to both internal and external financial reporting, financial planning and control (FP&C), and financial audits, always with a focus on challenging the status quo and providing stakeholders with fresh, accurate, and actionable insights for better decision-making.
You will ensure the accuracy of accounting data and proactively address process gaps that may cause inefficiencies or delays. Because of your close involvement in day-to-day financial operations, you will also take an active role in driving incremental improvements to our ERP system (Exact, migrating to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) and in strengthening integration between financial and other corporate IT systems.
