About the role...
We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.
What you will do...
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm and GitHub Actions/Jenkins
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Ansible and Terraform
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and resolve issues as they arise
- Implement, administer, and maintain Linux virtual infrastructure, databases, and applications servers, including provisioning, backups and restores, upgrades, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot software and infrastructure issues as needed
- Communication complex technical solutions to a broad range of stakeholders within the business
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
Technical Skills required...
- Bachelor’s degree in a CS/IS/IT/System Administration related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in a DevOps or equivalent role with a strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
- Very good knowledge of containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of Helm Charts
- Experience with automating deployment (CI/CD) like GitHub Actions/Jenkins and using DevOps tools (i.e., Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with Version control systems (i.e., Git, GitLab)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken Ability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Experience in the following technologies will be considered an asset:
- Experience working and supporting OCP environment.
- Working knowledge of Kafka, ELK, Databases
- Working knowledge of ArgoCD
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure/GCP/AWS
- Troubleshooting and debugging application-related network issues Certification in Cloud Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud) is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
