Working within our Infrastructure Services team, this role is responsible for supporting a number of fast-paced customers running Kubernetes on AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure their systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
Specific:
Working independently and also under guidance to support customers in line with scoped projects and managed services agreements to:
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of applications in a cloud environment
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our services
Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
General:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Required Skills Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
Good knowledge of Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Strong communication skills
Ability to work comfortably in fast-paced environments
