Homecare Gurus Ltd is seeking compassionate and skilled Domiciliary Carers to support our clients in their homes. As a domiciliary carer, you will play a key role in helping individuals maintain their dignity and independence while delivering high-quality personal care. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide companionship, and ensure their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Supporting clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication management.
- Promoting the overall health and comfort of clients through regular monitoring.
- Documenting care activities and any changes in client well-being.
- Encouraging and engaging clients in social interactions and activities.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential.
- Must be a driver with own car
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate and patient attitude toward clients.
- Willingness to go through an enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Training in manual handling and first aid is a plus.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
Benefits
- £14 – £17 per hour (depending on experience and shifts)
- Mileage allowance: £0.35 per mile (for Henley shifts only)
