We are currently hiring an experienced and proactive HR Specialist to support one of our clients in the multi-family property management industry. You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your HR expertise will directly impact team cohesion, compliance, and organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
Employee Onboarding & Records Management
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a consistent experience across multiple property locations.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) and ensure full compliance with company policies and legal standards.
HR Policy & Employee Support
- Address employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures.
- Support benefits administration including enrollments, updates, and resolving issues.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Assist in handling employee relations matters such as investigations, disciplinary documentation, and policy enforcement.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws particularly within multi-site, multi-state operations.
Training, Development & Reporting
- Support performance evaluation processes and coordinate training and development efforts across all teams.
- Generate and analyze HR reports including metrics related to turnover, recruitment, and compliance.

Required Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of HR experience (preferably in property management, real estate, or hospitality)
- Strong understanding of employment law across multiple states
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (especially ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with roles common in property management (leasing agents, property managers, maintenance techs)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (preferred)
- HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP (a plus)
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Your day will involve collaborating with both corporate and onsite teams, managing HR operations such as onboarding, employee inquiries, compliance tracking, and supporting training initiatives. You’ll often be the go-to resource for ensuring that HR processes run smoothly and consistently across various property sites.
