We are looking for an Identity & Access Management Architect for the development of architectural artefacts and the provision of expert guidance, with an emphasis on supporting the team in responding to shifting priorities and delivering value across priority initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural input to IAM-related projects, with a specific focus on transitioning from institution’s custom-built IAM system to a modern, cloud-native solution using Azure AD and related services;
- Contribute to the analysis, design, and planning of the decoupling of legal entity and contact management functionalities from the existing IAM solution, supporting their re-architecture as independent, modular capabilities;
- Support alignment of IAM practices with institution’s enterprise architecture principles, cybersecurity policies, and cloud strategy;
- Collaborate with IT Security, Infrastructure, Legal, and Application teams to ensure interoperable, compliant, and scalable identity solutions;
- Guide integration of Azure services such as Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and B2B and/or B2C federation into the future IAM landscape;
- Advise on IAM governance models and policy definition to ensure secure authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management across hybrid environments;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties comply fully with regulatory requirements, including the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- University degree in related field;
- At least 5 years of experience as an Identity & Management Architect or as a Senior Engineer;
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and overseeing the implementation of identity and access management (IAM) solutions in Azure, including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and role-based access control (RBAC);
- At least 5 years of experience in ensuring alignment of IAM strategies with institution’s enterprise architecture, governance, and security models;
- At least 5 years of experience in defining and implementing policies for authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and federation across cloud and hybrid environments;
- At least 5 years of experience in applying FinOps principles by recommending IAM solutions that balance security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness within institution’s Azure environment;
- At least 5 years of experience in collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure consistent identity integration, seamless user experience, and secure access across systems;
- At least 5 years of experience in contributing to the IAM roadmap and Azure transition planning, ensuring interoperability with legacy systems and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, EU security frameworks);
- Excellent command of the English is required, and knowledge of Finnish language will be considered as an asset.
