About the role...
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad.
What you will do...
- Design and Review the architecture of Information Systems;
- Analyze the integration of different information systems;
- Produce software architecture documents, blueprints, best practices;
- Architect end-to-end solutions utilizing Java, SpringBoot, and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration between various components.
- Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences;
- Define product solutions leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the product line architecture roadmap;
- Propose IT products based on cost benefit analysis and research;
- Define, document and develop best practices, design patterns and technology standards;
- Provide technical leadership to development teams;
- Analyze current solutions and identify opportunities for improvements and automation;
- Contribute to the Architecture Repository and participate in the Architecture Board.
Technical Skills required...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar;
- Ideally minimum 8 years of experience in software development of Information Systems;
- At least 3 years of experience working as an IT Solution Architect;
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and Microservices;
- Experience providing technical leadership to development teams;
- Experience working in Agile teams.
Experience in the following will be considered as an asset:
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker;
- Experience with Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
