Job Role: Intermediate Bookkeeper
Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: A professional services firm in the accounting industry, specialising in outsourced bookkeeping, payroll, and virtual CFO services. They leverage technology and qualified accountants to give businesses clear, up-to-date financial insights and streamline compliance.
Role Overview: The Intermediate Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day to day bookkeeping operations. You will work across multiple clients and handle tasks such as reconciliations, accounts processing, payroll support, and financial reporting. This role suits someone who is confident with numbers, enjoys structured work, and takes pride in keeping financial data organized and up to date. You will play an important part in ensuring smooth financial workflows and supporting senior accounting staff with more complex tasks.
