The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. The IT Project Manager will also be responsible for stakeholder communication, status reporting, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create detailed project plans and schedules, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Lead and manage project teams, providing direction and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Review and approve deliverables before project closure, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT project management.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
