Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors to remove dust, debris, and spills.
Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap material receptacles.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas.
Wipe down machinery exteriors, workbenches, and high-touch surfaces (without interfering with production processes).
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE usage.
Assist with minor facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs.
Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or maintenance periods.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
