Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Junior Data Scientist for one of our partners, a global leader in the IT Services and IT Consulting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
0 to 2 years of experience required.
Internship or academic projects showcasing practical data analysis or ML work.
Optional certifications (Google Data Analytics, IBM Data Science, etc.).
Technical Requirements
Programming: Solid skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
Technical skills:
Cleans and prepares structured datasets using Pandas or Power Query.
Can visualize insights with Matplotlib, Seaborn.
Understands and implements Machine learning models.
Basic understanding of text preprocessing (tokenization, stop words, TF-IDF).
Exposure to pretrained models via Hugging Face for small tasks (e.g., sentiment analysis).
Soft Skills
Curious mindset and willingness to learn from mentors.
Strong analytical thinking and communication of results.
Works effectively under supervision within cross-functional teams.
