Position Summary
The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across the company’s operations. The position entails active involvement in a wide range of corporate, commercial, and financial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and support in investment and M&A activities. The Legal Counsel will work closely with multiple departments and external partners to ensure compliance, protect the company’s interests, and enable strategic growth, all while maintaining a practical and business-oriented approach to legal issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal support to the company, with a focus on corporate and financial matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial, corporate, and partnership agreements.
- Assist in investment, financing, and potential M&A activities, including coordination with external advisors and preparation of relevant documentation.
- Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues impacting the company’s operations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Finance, Business Development, and Legal, ensuring alignment across projects.
- Monitor developments in corporate and commercial law and provide proactive guidance to support business objectives.
- Contribute to the optimization of internal legal procedures and document management practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Law from a top-tier university in Greece or abroad.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in law, ideally within a corporate or transactional environment.
- Professional experience in Corporate, Commercial, and/or Financial law.
- Previous exposure to M&A, investment, or financing transactions will be considered a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
- A Master’s degree (LL.M.) or professional certifications will be considered an asset.
