We’re looking for an Office Manager to join the team at our office in Amsterdam. This versatile role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join a fast-growing, ‘start-up’ feel organisation that has big plans for the future.
Although you’ll be part of our super sociable and collaborative culture, you’ll be working autonomously in the role, prioritising tasks, multitasking and building and maintaining a great culture in the office. The office will be yours to nurture, support and we want you to drive a workspace that the team looks forward to visiting and being a part of. This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to shape it into your own.
We are looking for someone who feels at home in an international environment and is available for 24 to 32 hours a week, spread over four days.
You will be responsible for:
- Be the welcoming face of Treatwell in Amsterdam, greeting visitors and keeping our office looking its best
- Support smooth onboarding for new joiners and help nurture a vibrant, positive office culture
- Organise company events — like our annual Christmas party — and help bring memorable moments come to life
- Act as the go-to person for all workplace needs — from maintenance, cleaning, post and supplies to equipment — while coordinating smoothly with our landlord, cleaners, and suppliers, including managing incoming invoices
- Keep our kitchen happily stocked with groceries, essentials and, above all… coffee!
- Prepare our daily office lunch four days a week — making sure everything is set up, groceries are taken care of, and occasionally surprising the team with something fun or unexpected
- Own all things Health & Safety, ensuring we have the right fire marshals and trained safety officers across all floors
- Partner with HR to review, update and maintain our office policies whenever needed
- Take ownership, improve existing processes, and proactively share ideas and feedback to make things even better
About you:
- Everyone knows who to call if something needs to be arranged: you! You don’t take no for an answer and although you like good planning; a bit of pressure suits you as well!
- You have a perfect mix of greedy and generous: You spend our money like it is your own; you negotiate with suppliers and you always compare different options. Yet, you keep in mind our value ‘we are the keepers of quality’ also applies for your day-to-day work.
- It makes you happy to make our people happy. You know how to surprise them and make them feel at ease. It is your goal to make the workday of your colleagues a beautiful day.
- Your a relationship builder and enjoy interacting with people at all levels
- A creative and enthusiastic mind with an ability to suggest improvements but never afraid to ask for further clarification when needed
- Good level of speaking and writing English is a must
- Speaking and writing Dutch is a nice plus but no requirement
