About the Role
We are searching for a hands-on and proactive Intern to will/may support our Materials, Production & Quality function. You will also need to work collaboratively across design, product development, and commercial and creative teams. This is a vital role in the Product Operations Team that requires a driven individual with the abilities to be hands-on, have a keen eye for details, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
You should have / be
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to research and understand technical documentation
- The willingness to explore and follow best practices
- Self-motivated
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrate experience managing multiple projects and/or tasks and easily switching focus as required
- Ability to interact with multiple levels of staff and express ideas articulately, verbally, and in writing to a variety of audiences
- Strong customer service skills
Main Responsibilities
- Support logistical needs via tracking, receiving packing and unpacking of samples shipments
- Manage sample fitting and photoshoot samples to ensure that tasks are executed timely and accurately
- Assist in planning out supplier risk management protocols and managing supplier assessment & analysis.
- Keep all tracking systems promptly updated providing effective visibility to internal teams
- Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure deadlines for all production and photoshoot samples are met.
- Raise any issues of ordered styles that will potentially bottleneck production and escalation of reporting where required.
- Attend any quality complaints and feedback, work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate issues, and ensure timely responses.
- Assist with any cross-functional team inquiries
- Support the department with other relevant duties as directed
Requirements
- Availability for at least 4-6 months
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Natural excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills
