Our client, a leading company in the insurance sector, seeks to recruit a Sales Director.
Main responsibilities
Develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Monitors market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Aligns sales objectives with overall business goals and communicates progress to senior management
Leads, mentors, and motivates the sales team to deliver exceptional performance
Analyzes sales performance data and KPIs to identify trends, explain variances, and propose strategies that strengthen sales outcomes
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and distribution partners
Provides clients with customized solutions and access to a wide range of products from different providers
Negotiates high-value contracts and ensures long-term partnerships
Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Ensures all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
Utilizes CRM and analytics tools to track performance, forecast trends, and optimize processes
Prepares and presents detailed sales reports and insights to executive leadership
Μanages sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management
Requirements
BSc in Business, Marketing, or related field
MSc will be considered as an asset
At least 10 years of experience in sales field
Experience in the insurance industry is required
Experience with both non-life and life insurance are required
Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of CRM systems
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Excellent command of English language, strong written and verbal skills
Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and secure agreements
Strong analytical mindset with strategic vision to identify opportunities and drive growth
