For a Leading Dry Bulk Shipping Company: Senior Chartering Manager
Responsibilities
Handle all chartering activity for cargo bookings (prompt / forward / COAs) with a strong focus on Atlantic markets (ATL)
Develop and manage a strong cargo portfolio, including short trips, BH (Backhaul), and FH (Front haul) opportunities
Build and lead a new chartering team specializing in ATL trading
Engage with the market weekly with fresh cargoes to cover
Monitor and expand FFA (Forward Freight Agreements) activity, either as a hedge or to pursue commercial opportunities
Represent the company at commercial and industry events
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in dry bulk chartering
Proven track record in developing and maintaining a cargo book
