We are seeking an experienced, versatile, and reliable Housekeeper to manage the cleanliness and maintenance of a large private residence in Overijse, Belgium.
This is a full-time permanent contract for a professional couple with a few easy to manage pets and gardens. The ideal candidate will be committed to reliable support for the owners, a couple, on a daily basis for the long term.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a 750m2 villa
- Perform all general housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, etc.)
- Managing household supplies, organising indoor and outdoor spaces, and ensuring the property is well-maintained
- Errand running (post office, dry cleaning etc)
- Receiving parcels and postal mail, scanning and filing
- Occasional pet care and general garden maintenance
- Welcome external providers to handle servicing and repairs
- Supervise laundry, ironing/washing and assist when required
- Occasionally handle grocery shopping
- Prepare daily meals (lunch and dinners when owners are present)
Requirements
- M/F with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Inherent ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and dynamic personality
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, kind and trustworthy
- Capable of preparing simple healthy meals when employers are present
- Fluent in English
Benefits
- Full-time permanent – 40 hours/week (6-7 hours per day between 8 AM and 8 PM)
